It’s Time to Pack

It is already July, which means that summer is in full swing!  It also means that Zach and I are getting ready to move out of our current place.  Our last day is tomorrow, actually.  What does this mean?  Well…

This means that Zach and I have been feeling like we’re in over our heads with everything that we have had to do in these past two weeks.  From getting boxes to staying up late, we’ve been decently busy.  Oh, and the second term of the summer session is also currently going on, so I am juggling class and moving and Zach is juggling work and moving.  Both of us are just really looking forward to vacation later on this summer.  We can see the light at the end of the tunnel.  However, we have a lot to do tonight.

For the next 24 hours, we will be packing up clothes, kitchen items & food, miscellaneous stuff that never seems to end, and cleaning.  Lots and lots of cleaning.  But it will be good–we will do this activity together and get it done twice as fast as if it were just one of us.  An added bonus is that Zach doesn’t mind doing the cleaning-related activities that I dislike doing (cleaning the toilet, anyone?) and I don’t mind doing the things Zach dislikes, such as doing the dishes.

While I am very anxious about getting all of this done, I am also very excited about getting to move to a new place.  Crockett and Indy will enjoy the dog park and I will enjoy the pool once this is all said and done.  On that note, it’s time to pack!
