Product Review: Schmidt’s Deodorant

Have you yet to find a vegan-friendly deodorant that doesn’t leave your armpits stinky at the end of the day?  I know I was looking forever until I came across this little product:

Schmidt's Deodorant: Bergamot & Lime Scented
Schmidt’s Deodorant: Bergamot & Lime Scented

I had found this product on vacation with my boyfriend in Portland, Oregon, which also happens to be where this product is made.  We were at Food Fight! Grocery when we came across this.  At that particular store, they had several of the scents that Schmidt’s carries.  The ones we previewed were: lavendar and sage, cedarwood and juniper, and ylang-ylang and calendula.  After smelling all of them, we agreed that this was the one that we enjoyed the most.

The bergamot and lime is a nice and refreshing scent, which lasts throughout the entire day.  This particular deodorant is a dry deodorant, so to use this, you scoop out a pea-sized amount utilizing the provided spoon, rub it between your fingers for a few seconds, and then apply it directly to your armpits.

So far, I have yet to have any negative thoughts about this product.  It works really well and lasts throughout the entire day.  If you are interested in purchasing some, you can buy some directly from their website, from Food Fight! Grocery’s website or by finding a retailer near you using this handy store locator.
